How to obtain your certificate

A British Safety Council Awards Level 2 Certificate can be gained by completing an externally verified workplace risk assessment. The Level 2 certificate is a stand-alone qualification intended for those with responsibility for conducting risk assessments in the workplace, it also provides a useful foundation to the BSC Awards Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.

If you wish to gain the BSC certificate, you must do the following:

  • Apply to British Safety Council awards upon completion of the course
  • Undertake an externally verified assessment
  • Receive a nationally recognised certificate upon successful completion of the assessment
