Amongst other modules, this course covers:
- main legislation relating to manual handling risk assessment
- basic principles of anatomy and physiology
- the manual handling risk assessment process

How to obtain your certificate
A British Safety Council Awards Level 2 Certificate can be gained by completing an externally verified workplace risk assessment. The Level 2 certificate is a stand-alone qualification intended for those with responsibility for conducting risk assessments in the workplace, it also provides a useful foundation to the BSC Awards Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
If you wish to gain the BSC certificate, you must do the following:
- Apply to British Safety Council awards upon completion of the course
- Undertake an externally verified assessment
- Receive a nationally recognised certificate upon successful completion of the assessment
